Katy sat down next to the lake. She looked at the photo, how could this be her 1st Christmas without Ryan already. She looked up at the sky as they sky started to turn blue, she felt a little bit of rain drop on her, but as she looked closer she saw that it was snow. She sighed wishing she could be sharing it with her family. A small smile appeared as she though of Nicky and spending a Christmas with him instead. Tears escaped her eyes again as she watched the lake slowly moving around, she looked at her photo, concentrating on Ryan. If only. She whispered to herself. If only you weren't so selfish back then. The tears began just cascading down her face.

Katy pulled the bottle from her pocket and began sipping it, tonight she needed a drink, no matter what the past was, today she needed a drink. She sipped and sipped and sipped until it was all gone, tears falling from her eyes.

Katy felt quite tipsy by the time she'd finished her second bottle, however the tears were still flowing and she still had the picture tightly gripped in her hand. She looked around the lake, it was deserted. When will I learn this won't help me. Katy cried more as she thought about how Nicky would react to her drinking.

Katy laid flat on the grass, giggling away to herself, by now she was fully drunk, she had drunk 3 bottles of vodka and a bottle of gin, she'd stole it from home before she left and had never wanted it till now. Ryan, I love you bro, miss you so much, why won't you come back to me. Katy giggled to herself. Do you like Nicky, I do, i lub him with all my heart. Katy swayed as she stood up. I think you do like him, otherwise we wouldn't be together, you'd have done something by now. Katy pointed a finger to the sky, waving it around. Even if you don't like him, I do, and I'm going to get married to him, so ner. Katy stuck her tongue out, then collapsed back on to the groung.

Katy looked around, there was no-one there and it was starting to get dark now. I guess I better go back to my warm bed. She hiccuped and started to sway back towards the castle.
