Miss Ashmoor sat with her clipboard and pen next to her, as she wrote up a small sign up list, adding Abigail's name firstly, as she was head of the theatrical department. She sat waiting patiently for people to audition..

Nikki pushed open the door unaware of what was waiting her on the otherside. As she entered the room she took a deep breath before speaking, I'm Nichola, Nichola Tamara Matthews. I'm hoping to audition for a part in the musical, preferably something involving both singing and acting please. She sighed, it wasn't that hard was it but before that thought was out of her head she dropped her folder with her notes and dialogues spilling out everywhere.

Jennie did as she was told, for once in her life. She stepped onto the stage; nerves that made her feel sick. She told herself she would be ok and took a breath and smiled. She fixed her hair and answered abbi, I can sing from the low Bb to the second octave Ab. I have sang oprah and pop songs before. Erm, dance? Well, hip-hop! she hated how she had a range of talents, she just wanted to hide. but she had told her now, no going back.

abigail smiled, could you take center stage? she said, pressing a button on the player remote, which turned it on, as the sound of salt n pepper's push it came blaring out, You have 40seconds she smiled, sitting crossed legged on the floor.

Jennie took a deep breath, smiled and forgot she had nerves. She was going to sing and dance, pretending her parents where there. That they would praise her for her effort. She took center stage like it was the last 'Gucci' bag in the world. She began her audition by doing some funky dance movements. As the beat of the intro was fading she got prepared to sing. Ah, push it, Ah, push it... she sung. She was having lots of fun and then realised her time was up...

Abigail sat up from the floor, and moved over towards Miss Ashmoore, she's got talent, she thought to herself, I didn't know how good of a dancer you were! she beamed, walking over to the stage, and handing jennie a booklet of paper, Page 23, Leona's speech. she said, sitting back down onto the floor, could you just act out a few lines from that scene?

Jennie took the booklet off of Abbi and searched for the page. Yep sure she added. She took a deep breath and acted as though her parents were again watching her performance. She spoke from the heart. She let the emotions of the words, just come out freely. My name was Leona. I was young, free, and happy. Not expecting what was to come, to come. It was a terrible surprise! A surprise that ruined my life; a surprise that changed my life for the worst. Just by remembering it, brings back awful memories. Memories I wish had been erased. If only I had not have done it. If only I hadn’t been so selfish. I had done the wrong thing for the right reason. Or was it? Was it the right thing for the wrong reason? Was this all just a nightmare? If it was, why wasn’t I waking up? Why wasn’t I hearing my 6:00am alarm beeping? It certainly was not a nightmare; I certainly was not asleep! she finished by adding extra emphasis to her last sentence. She looked up at Abbi and smiled.

there was a loud pause from the other actors, and it was followed by a small applause. Jennie! i didn't realise how amazing you were. she paused, before taking the clipboard off miss ashmoore. You're definitely in! Come back for rehearsals later she smiled, moving on to the next person on the clipboard. Nichola, center stage please.

Nikki quickly up onto the stage, it was then she began to see the disbelief going through her mind which her mother had put there after watching Jennie. 'Singing, wont get you anywhere in life.' Nikki shivered then recalled off her vocal styles and dance styles. Well, I sing whatever suits really... mainly pop, ballad, jazz and blues. My dance styles normally consist of jazz and modern but I can also partake in most Latin and Ballroom dancing. At the mention of the latin and balroom dancing Nikki felt a tinge of red creep across her face. She didn't need to mention that did she?! Ahh well to late now, Nikki gulped and waited for further instructions...

unfortunately, there isn't any ballroom styles or jazz, only theatrical. she sighed, seeing nichola's face light down, So could you try your best in that style? she asked, flicking the music player back on again.

Sure Nikki nodded. Nikki looked at the floor and stared to tap her foot to the beat before dancing a high energy routine whilst singing her heart out putting all the emotion she could to make it as realistic as possible hoping her fears didn’t get the better of her. Halfway through the performance Nikki began to enjoy it so much. She finished and stood waiting for the verdict…

Abigail bit her lip, it wasn't as good as standard as Jennie, but that was a tough act to follow, There isn't any speaking roles left, since we had two save one for Leon, and Jennie has the part of Autumn, and of course, being head of theatre i've also got a lead.. she flicked through the script, looking at lead dance and vocal roles, We have either a dance role or a vocal left, so take your pick.
